This website is built on WordPress, with a custom-made theme. The website has many functionalities beyond a normal website, and I list some of the elements I here:
- Publishing operational messages – Editors can publish operational messages directly in WordPress. The operational reports are then retrieved by the case management system via API.
- Publishing tutorials – Editors can publish tutorials directly in WordPress. The guides are then retrieved by the case management system via API and distribute the guides as searchable FAQs.
- Script changes images – The images at the top of the front page, and pages that don’t have dedicated images, are switched based on the season and time of day.
- Internal and external elements – The website has elements that are only visible to visitors from Indigo ICT’s network. This makes it possible to avoid visitors ending up in places they don’t have access to.
